This evening I'm taking a break from sewing
and doing a bit of drawing.

I think I'm going to attempt to design myself a tattoo!

Selvedge Magazine

We have decided to apply for a stand at the
Selvedge Spring Fair this year!

Here are some photographs

the work and pick us for a table!

Sophie!

We have just rescued this little barrel! She has made herself at home very
quickly as you can see.

She used to live with an elderly lady who couldn't look after
her anymore. So we've take her in and she now sleeps on
the sofa, gets a lovely long walk and generally spoilt!

Sophie is now the 9th old mutt we've saved from the pound!

These are just a few shots from the very messy work table!

Liberty's Tomorrow!

Just going through and choosing the last little
creatures to take tomorrow.

I'm also trying to work out the final details
of my pitch. Got to make sure
I get my figures right!

The French Bull Dogs will be coming
with me tomorrow. I think they
have so much character, but I guess
I'm a bit bias!

Alice In Wonderland Hare

These are the first two hares I have made.
The hare in red was commissioned with the theme of
Alice In Wonderland.

It took quite a while to get the head correct for
the hare. The ears are double layered
and have wire running around the edge to
keep them stiff.

The 'Alice' bear has themed objects hanging
from his backpack such as, a hop hat,
playing cards, a watch, magic potion etc.

The lady who commissioned this special
hare has also asked me to consider doing all the
characters from 'Alice In Wonderland'

What an curious prospect!

They both have matching eye
patches with hand printed
'A Threadbear Production'
lettering.

Looking back at a few of my Christmas presents.

A personalised piece of wood made by one of
my best friends, Gregg, who is studying
Furniture at High Wycombe.

A lovely piece of vintage fabric from my uncle.
This beautiful black and purple floral dates back
to the mid 1800's. I'm one lucky girl!

Hand stitched floral embroidery.

Liberty's

A week tomorrow I have the very scary task of pitching my
bears, pugs, frech bulldogs and hares to the buyers
of the gift department in Liberty London!

Today I am faced with the task of deciding which of the little
creatures to take.

Everyone cross their fingers and hope they like us!
