Although this isn't a very good picture.
This is an old photograph of my house.
A railway station built in 1867.
I've just discovered the station has its own
Wikipedia page!

This is a clock I made when I was at college.
It now tells the time twice a day hanging
from our jam packed book shelf!

Saturday 22 December 2012

Been so busy working and preparing for crimbo haven't posted for a few days!

These two fabric dolls were made for me by my mother when
I was younger. Now they keep my bears company
on top of the book case.

These are two pictures from my mothers room.
I love the wallpaper and old fashioned lamp.

Three old dogs!

Monday 17 December 2012

This smart bear is wearing a hand beaded waistcoat.
He's got a very fetching gold earring and a
heart shaped pocket watch.

This rustic country bear has been
out collecting feathers.

Naughty robber bear.
He's got his swag bag on and his
robber hat!

Sunday 16 December 2012

I bought this for my mum last Christmas.
She said it was the best present she'd ever received.
Don't think i'll be able to beat it this year!

I got this lovely wolf lady from a Shorditch market.
What a great find!

Saturday 15 December 2012

A few more of the bears from my collection.
More to be added to the shop soon!

Friday 14 December 2012

Just a few photos of the shelves in out work room.
I love the dog on wheels and old fashioned clock box.

I have an unnatural love for ribbon. Here some of my favourite colours
of velvet ribbon are stored on old cotton reels and nailed to
an old fence post I found in the fields behind our house.

I am also fascinated with animal skulls. Here are a few bird
skulls i have found over the years.

A little family of four.

These explorer bears have been out borrowing things.

Some more of my card designs.

Numbers and letters in the dining room.
Vintage hare.
Inspiring me to make a hare bear!

My dad made me a giant pair of scissors and two keys
when there was a book day in
primary school! I think they deserve a 'vintage' status.
They must be nearly 15 years old now.
Also the scissors actually cut paper!
Clever daddy.

Monday 10 December 2012

Just a few little animals that sit on our windowsill.
Trying to get in the Xmas mood with
a wooden reindeer!

A collection of clocks in our dinning room.

We have a huge bag of broken china dolls.
Getting round to doing something with them
is the real challenge!

Two pug brothers.
The top one has borrowed one of my dogs Bonio treats!
Naughty pug.

Sunday 9 December 2012

Chav Buffalo.
Another illustration for my card and frame designs.

Slowly going through the house taking photographs.
My mum is always redecorating and rearranging so it's
good to keep a record!

Saturday 8 December 2012

Smug pug fairy!

Two French Bulldog Bears.
Hand sewn. Hand painted.
Bespoke made to measure clothes.

This is me at the UAL Crimbo Fayre last Tuesday.
Met some lovely people and made a bit of money too.
My next plan is to set up an online shop!

These three little chaps are some of the first illustrations
I produced for my new company
 'Some Dogs Body'.
